The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is pleased to announce that the expansion of its current museum in St. Marys, Ontario is well under way and will be completed in 2018.

2006 Hall of Famer Ron Hayter passes away

Ron who passed away April 21, 2018 had been a player, coach, manager, executive and organizer of Canadian and international baseball for close to 50 years.

2012 Hall of Famer Rusty Staub passes away

Rusty who passed away March 29, 2018 played for the Montreal Expos from 1969-71, 1979 and was considered the first fan favourite in franchise history

Votto presented with Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame’s Tip O’Neill Award

For the seventh time in eight years Joey has won the James Tip O’Neill Award as the top Canadian in baseball.

What Canadian Baseball Hall of Famer was the first American League player to record 20 doubles, 20 triples and 20 home runs in same same season?

Born in Fort William, Ontario he would blossom into a top power-hitting prospect and was signed by the Cleveland Indians. His .383 batting average and 187 RBIs with the Tribe’s minor league affiliate in Zanesville in 1936 reinforced his blue chip status and earned the young Canuck a big league promotion that September.

Friday, June 15 - 22nd Annual Celebrity Golf Classic and Banquet.
Golf tournament 90% sold out, but lots of banquet tickets still available.

The 2018 inductees are Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Lloyd Moseby, Montreal Expos Cy Young award winning pitcher Pedro Martinez and Canada's top baseball historian Bill Humber.

John Axford pitched in his 500th career game on April 17, 2018 versus Kansas City. John becomes just the 7th Canadian in MLB history to pitch in 500 or more games. All-time leaders are: Paul Quantrill 841, Rheal Cormier 683, Fergie Jenkins 664, Ryan Dempster 579, John Hiller 545 and Jesse Crain 532.

Joey Votto collected his 1000th career walk on April 18, 2018 versus Milwaukee. Joey becomes the 1st Canadian and 2nd Reds player (Pete Rose) to accomplish this feat.
Joey has passed Justin Morneau with his 1604th career hits for most by a Canadian first basemen and 2nd most hits by a Canadian behind Larry Walker (2160).

Tyler O'Neill was drafted in the 3rd round by the Seattle Mariners in 2013 and made his big league debut with the St. Louis Cardinals on April 19, 2018 versus Chicago Cubs. Tyler has donated his batting gloves from that game to the Hall of Fame.
